There are sites here which have solid foundation in fact and history--Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the pools of Bethesda, the teaching steps, for example. Then there are others that have less grounds for historicity, like the Church of the Ascension or the Upper Room. That's why I love the phrase "This room remembers...". These buildings remember. The rocks remember and the very stones cry out. Here we retell the story and in remembering we relive and renew, and we remember.
